Lowell Engineering Firm is looking for 2 Plumbing / Fire Protection Engineers


Avid Engineers is a growing MEP-FP firm, with offices in Lowell, MA, Boston, MA, and Nashville, TN. The firm prides itself in working on large scale projects of a particularly challenging nature. We seek driven, goal-oriented employees interested in joining our team, and sharing in the long-term success of the company.

Qualified candidates may be either experienced in Mechanical, Plumbing, and/or Fire Protection system design for commercial and industrial projects, or may be a new college graduate seeking an entry level position. A successful candidate will be an ambitious engineer interested in working independently within a challenging and supportive environment.

Typical responsibilities and duties will include: code analysis, equipment/system selection, calculations, preparation of contract documents, and construction administration. The individual should be capable of establishing and maintaining professional working relationships with architects, owners and contractors.

Qualified candidates must have a working knowledge of AutoCAD and/or Revit, and should be familiar with Microsoft Word, Excel and Outlook. A BS in Engineering is preferred. Entry-Level candidates as well as experienced candidates are encouraged to apply.

Salary Range: Commensurate with experience

Experience Required: 5+ to 7 years, or Entry level College Graduate

Education Required: Bachelor?s Degree
