Technical Support Specialist
Peak Scientific Inc., a fast-growing company specializing in the manufacture of laboratory gas generators for the life science and biomedical market, is looking to recruit a talented Technical Support Specialist. You will be joining a North American team of around 60 staff, including dedicated sales and field service engineer teams covering the whole of mainland US and key territories in Canada. We are an award- winning company with our headquarters in Scotland. We export 90% of our sales to approximately 126 countries. We have an expanding operation in the Americas which is head quartered in Billerica, Massachusetts.

POSITION SUMMARY
As Technical Support Specialist reporting to the Technical Manager - North America, you will take full ownership of Technical and Service inquiries for our Customers, OEMs, Field and Office teams.
Our Technical Support team offers support via email, ZenDesk & telephone support utilizing SightCall for live visual support and improved customer experience.
Your main job functions will include:
    Providing a high level of technical support in conjunction with the service management system.
    Prioritizing and scheduling of customer requested service/maintenance requests.
    Responding to and recording all incoming technical calls and emails.
    Maintaining up to date customer records.
    Informing line manager of all serious complaints and escalation.

TRAITS AND QUALIFICATIONS
With exceptional communication skills and a methodical approach to problem solving, you work well under pressure against tight deadlines to provide top-notch troubleshooting to end user customers of Peak Generators.
Resilient and effective in the face of pressure, you also have:
    Experience in Fault Diagnosis.
    Strong knowledge of electrical and mechanical systems.
    Ability to read/follow electrical, mechanical, and pneumatic diagrams.
