NEIWPCC is seeking skilled and passionate communications specialists to join our dynamic and creative Communications team. We are hiring for one full time position, and one part time position. This is a great opportunity to apply your writing, editing, and promotional skills supporting a regional nonprofit focused on environmental protection.

The communications specialists will assist the Communications Division with writing and developing outreach products, publications, and web content to showcase NEIWPCC?s programs and environmental efforts. These positions will coordinate the production of print and digital publications, take part in strategic social media planning and content development, research and write news and feature stories, maintain and update assigned sections of the NEIWPCC website, and assist with editorial support and branding guidance on projects within our organization.

Our ideal candidate will have a degree in communications or comparable field and have related professional experience. Excellent writing, editing and research skills will be needed. Experience with Microsoft Office, WordPress, and email marketing is preferred. Knowledge of graphic design, Adobe Creative Suite, and photo/video editing is a plus. An interest in environmental issues and a willingness to learn would be helpful.
