Job Description

This person will perform day to day inspection on products including sheet metal, molded and machined parts, printed material, cables, electronic components PCB?s, and first articles when required. The Mechanical Inspector will perform both mechanical and visual inspections as required; must have experience using department equipment including CMMs, OGP Smartscopes, Optical Comparators, height gauges, calipers, Vernier?s, micrometers etc. This person will generate Non Conformance reports.


Requirements:
- High School Diploma
- At least 3-5 years? experience in Mechanical Inspection Field.
- Must be able to read mechanical drawings and specifications; proficient in the use of inspection tools and equipment.
- Must be computer literate in Excel, Word, to have the ability to update appropriate databases, experience with SAP a plus
- Able to lift at least 30 pounds.

Hours are Monday - Friday 7:00 AM - 3:30 PM.
