Business Reporting Analyst

Axis Communications has this opening:

Take a proactive approach in understanding Axis? business needs to provide stakeholders with the information and analysis to maintain its leadership position and support business decisions. The role will provide statistical and financial business reporting to all levels of managers across multiple functions. Ideal candidate will be a strategic thinker who possess strong business acumen and be an ambassador to change.

Responsibilities

Provide financial and statistical business analysis to support and drive business initiatives

Utilizes known expected trends and understanding of the business and organizational structure to validate accurate reporting; performs detailed analysis and present findings in an organized manner

Prepare and distribute various sales reports and analysis on a daily, weekly, monthly & quarterly basis for all departments & levels of Management

Develop new report packages and dashboards utilizing Qlik Sense and/or printing

Proactively analyze business trends to support Management?s business decisions

Calculates performance against key performance indicators and monitors trends

Provide systematic evaluation and analytical feedback on effectiveness of the database systems and business intelligence tools as it relates to reporting

Work with Sweden Business Intelligence team in maintaining appropriate standard reports in Qlik Sense

Look for ways to improve reporting and streamline processes

Performs other related duties as needed including but not limited to ad-hoc analysis and overall Business Operations support

Essential Skills

Demonstrated competency in business acumen, strategic thinking, adapting to change

Strong Financial analytical skills

Proactive approach to understand Axis business and reporting needs

Strong working knowledge of business systems

Excellent interpersonal and communication skills with experience in working cross functionally

Strong attention to detail and time management and multi-tasking skills

Demonstrated experience with taking initiative while being resourceful and flexible

Ability to demonstrate advanced experience with Excel, including pivot tables, vlookups, Sumifs, report generation

Ability to communicate effectively with all levels of management

Ability to be agile and work in a fast-paced environment

Strong verbal and written communication skills, ability to present findings/summarized data from large data sets

Education and Experience

Bachelor?s degree in Business, Finance, Math, or other related degrees associated to Business Analytics

Fluent in all Microsoft Office Applications

Experience using Qlik sense, Salesforce, and other information systems a plus

3-5 years experience

Valued but not required skills or experience

Master?s Degree in a related field

Experience database management

System Implementation experience

Experience with Salesforce CRM
