Job Description

Overview:
Candidates with experience using AutoCAD or MicroStation is preferred. Prior telecommunications industry experience is a plus. Individuals with a propensity for gaming often find this role to be a great fit.
In-house training is required to be successful and will be provided for the right candidate.
We are offering an hourly rate of $17 to $22 per hour until training is complete. (generally, +/- 3 mos. it is different for everyone) For the drafter designers, once you can earn your hourly rate of pay doing production work, you are transferred to a production wage.

Responsibilities:
- Draft and/or design drawings in customer specified format, AutoCAD and/or MicroStation format from preliminary design drawings and/or field notes
- Performs basic drafting/design computations
- Translate field notes, verbal and written information into CAD drawings and designs
- Organize the layout of plans, details and units on the CAD drawings
- Ensure all drawings and designs are formatted to company standards and customer specifications
- Other duties as assigned

Qualifications:
-Some knowledge of AutoCAD and/or MicroStation is preferred.
-Must be proficient in basic computer software programs such as Microsoft Office - Word and Excel
-Past experience in the telecommunications industry preferred
-Keen attention to detail
-Ability to meet deadlines in a timely manner
-High School Diploma or equivalent
-Ability to pass pre-employment background and drug screens
