Local Law Firm is looking for a full time Administrative Assistant

Description
Law firm representing lenders in mortgage default-related services throughout New England is seeking a self-motivated and organized administrative assistant who can excel in a fast-paced environment. This position is responsible for providing administrative support across the Firm's departments.
While this role does not require prior experience, law firm and /or administrative experience is a plus. This is a full-time on-site position.

Responsibilities and Duties:
-General office administrative tasks.
-Daily processing of incoming and outgoing mail
-Manage incoming calls
-Timely and accurate updating of internal and client systems.
-Professional and effective communication, both verbal and electronic.
-Contribute to the team by diligently and thoroughly completing assigned tasks, duties, and projects.
-Other assigned duties as needed.

Qualifications and Skills:
-Strong written and verbal communication skills
-Detail oriented and able to concentrate and remain focused while being able to multitask.
-Strong organizational skills and the ability to manage/prioritize multiple tasks and meet strict deadlines.
-Excellent customer service abilities and interpersonal skills.
-Ability to take direction and apply feedback as needed.
-Ability to read and interpret instructions.
-Proficient use of Microsoft Office - Word, Excel and Outlook
-10 key touch keyboarding skills are essential
-High School diploma, or equivalent.
-Must be a dependable team player, adaptable to change, flexible, and willing to assist with multiple tasks as needed.

Conditions of Work:
Must be able to sit or stand for long periods of time
Lift up to 25 pounds, if needed
Work the hours as specified in a mutually agreed upon work week schedule
Able to work on computers for a significant portion of the day.
Must have own vehicle to make occasional trips to the post office
