OVERVIEW
Dracut Tire Shop is looking to hire a full time experienced automotive mechanic/technician.

Job Type: Full-time; Mon-Fri 8:00 AM-5:00 PM
Pay Range: $17-$21/hour (DOE)

RESPONSIBILITIES
- Inspect, diagnose and repair tire and automotive services

- Explain technical diagnoses and needed repairs to co-workers and customers

- Diagnose and repair to specifications -- brake and hydraulic, cooling system, suspension and alignment, perform all maintenance services such as lubrication and coolant exchanges

- Maintain clean and safe work areas

- Adhere to all company policies, procedures, safety and environmental rules

- Maintain a safe, clean, and organized work area

EXPERIENCE
- Applicants must have at least 1 year of automotive mechanical repair experience and the ability to quickly perform oil changes on foreign and domestic vehicles, vehicle maintenance inspections and maintenance services.

- Entry level applications will be considered based on qualifications and references.

REQUIREMENTS
- Good verbal communication skills
- Able to frequently reach overhead and below the knees, including squatting, bending, stooping, kneeling, twisting
- Valid Massachusetts Driver?s License
- Reliable transportation for on-time arrival
- Customer focus, with friendly attitude
