Job Description

Under the direction of the Field Supervisor, you assist with site preparation, basic demolition, lead paint removal, mold remediation, and other related activities at the assigned job site per the Field Supervisor?s direction. You are responsible for executing the required tasks safely and efficiently to ensure that a high quality of work is attained and scheduled goals for the job are accomplished. To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill, and/or ability required.

This position requires an individual with basic knowledge of lead paint abatement and/or mold remediation, the equipment, materials and procedures needed for completing jobs assigned, while complying with lead safe work practices and procedures according to local, state, and federal regulations and applicable construction codes.
This individual must have a positive work ethic, good communication skills, and team player attitude. S/he should be able to interact effectively with field supervisors, management, clients, co-workers, inspectors and other miscellaneous personalities that may visit a job site from time to time.
This position requires an energetic, hard-working individual with strong motivation and interpersonal skills. S/he must be able to work closely with a team, follow instructions, attend work reliably, and maintain company guidelines.

Qualifications and Education Requirements
Listed below are the specific knowledge, skills and/or abilities necessary to meet the minimum job requirements. We want all of our employees to be well-prepared for the job and positive ambassadors for Alpine!
Licenses and Bloodwork: Maintain appropriate Deleading Supervisor Licenses and submit to blood tests and physicals as mandated by regulations.
Education: High School diploma or GED or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
Experience: Experience in the environmental industry is preferred.

Language Ability: Ability to read, analyze, and interpret instructions. Ability to communicate effectively to fellow employees, clients, subcontractors, inspectors and other individuals.
Math Ability: Ability to perform basic math calculations: add, subtract, multiply, divide, fractions, decimals and percent.
Reasoning Ability: Ability to define problems, collect data, establish facts, and draw valid conclusions.
Skills, Knowledge: Have sufficient knowledge of materials, equipment and tools commonly used in the construction process.
Fitness: The job requires standing, walking, and moving a majority of the time, primarily at job sites. Body movements of turning the head and torso, bending, reaching and flexing the arms are required and bending the wrists and use of the hands to finger, grasp, handle or feel tools and equipment is required. Ability to climb ladders and be within ladder weight restrictions is required.
Body Senses: Must have command of all five senses: sight, hearing, touch, smell and taste.
Strength: Must be able to lift at least 50 pounds of materials, equipment and products.
Working Environment: The work environment characteristics described here are representative of those an employee encounters while performing the essential functions of this job. The job functions are primarily carried out at off-site locations at residential homes and commercial property. The noise level in the environment is usually moderate, but loud equipment and construction type sounds can occur at times.
