Billerica Company is looking for a Help Desk Technician

JOB SUMMARY:  
American Science and Engineering, an OSI Systems Company is seeking a Temporary Help Desk Technician in its Billerica, MA Facility.

RESPONSIBILITIES and GOALS:
    Maintain, troubleshoot, and provide technical support for the end user community in a Windows Active Directory environment.
    Provide solutions to meet client needs.
    Install hardware and/or software.
    Provide overview of hardware and software to users.
    Perform system upgrades and migrations.
    Work on requisitions of equipment for new and existing users.
    Perform hardware upgrades (memory installs, hard drive upgrades) as required.
    Must be able to lift desktops, laptops, monitors, printers and other IT related equipment.
    Complete assigned tickets in timely manner.
    Maintain Help Desk tracking software with up to date information on ticket progress.
    Contribute to operational documentation as required.

    Demonstrate behavior consistent with the company's Code of Ethics and Conduct.
    It is the responsibility of every employee to report to their manager or a member of senior management any quality problems or defects in order for corrective action to be implemented and to avoid recurrence of the problem.
    Duties may be modified or assigned at any time to meet the needs of the business.

REQUIREMENTS:  
    Bachelor's Degree desired.
    A+ Certification preferred.
    1+ years of related experience.
    Outstanding customer service skills.
    Must be organized, self-motivated and willing to learn.
    Ability to prioritize tasks according to urgency.
    Proficient in troubleshooting and supporting Windows 10/11 and Office 365.

Pay rate +/- $28 depending on experience.
