Job Description

Summary of Position: Responsible for the development and implementation of Girls Inc. Program initiatives and partnerships. The full-time manager of programming and partnerships ensures that Girls Inc. Of Greater Lowell is providing innovative, accessible programming with a broad reach to Girls Inc. Participants and the community. Manager of Programming and Partnerships will work closely with the Program Director in developing and maintaining partnerships which will expand Girls Inc. Of Greater Lowell current program offerings.


ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
o Assists in developing and maintaining a positive, equitable, accessible, safe, and supportive environment for program participants
o Assist in overseeing the development, implementation, and evaluation of programs
o Focus on qualitative and quantitative inquiry for continuous improvement
o Monitor and manage program grant activities and reporting in collaboration with the senior leadership team
o Develop and maintain external partnerships with schools that align with Girls Inc of Greater Lowell?s mission to implement quality programming
o Act as a liaison with fund development and volunteer initiatives and placements
o Recruit, hire, train, lead, coach, and provide performance feedback with program specialists to ensure quality programming at capacity
o Develop and implement operational program design
o Ensure that curricula being facilitated meets Girls Inc. Experience standards and are in alignment with the approved program calendar and annual goals
o Work collaboratively with program team to establish annual program calendar to ensure all girls have access to strong, smart, and bold programming opportunities and is in keeping with the agency strategic plan and annual goals
o Attends regular staff development, team meetings, and training
o Actively seek personal and professional growth opportunities for self and any staff
o Embrace challenges, new experiences, and be willing to be flexible and stretch to exhibit our learning and growth culture
o All other duties at assigned

Knowledge, Skills, & Abilities:
o Passionate about the mission of the organization, the community, diversity/inclusion and serving in a pro-girl environment
o Ability to work cooperatively and collaboratively with staff, families, and community partners
o Proficient in Microsoft Office and data entry in various software
o Highly detail oriented and organized
o Excellent written and verbal communication skills
o Takes initiative and demonstrates effective problem-solving skills

Experience & Qualifications:
o 3+ years of demonstrable experience working with youth (classroom, behavioral, social emotional learning management)
o Minimum requirement of a 2-to-4-year college degree
o Must have reliable transportation as day-to-day work travel will be needed
o Must be eligible to obtain training certification in First Aid/CPR
o Must be flexible to work Monday through Friday during school hours, up to 6 p.m. with occasional weekend hours as needed
o Must be able to lift 30-50lbs of equipment or supplies for various needs
