Job Description

Nova Biomedical is hiring a Manufacturing Engineering Technician to support production throughput.  You will work with various departments across the organization, troubleshoot and fix analyzers and assist the team with execution of verification and validation exercises.

More specific responsibilities will include:

- Troubleshoot and resolve analyzer functional issues. Document issues found, and work performed.
- Assist with continuous improvement activities.
- Execute design and process verification and validations.
- Assist with design and development of tools and fixtures to help facilitate handling and testing.

Qualifications:

- A minimum of 2 years of electro-mechanical, hands-on work experience. Alternatively, one could have an education base that is mechanical or electrical related.
- Fluent in English including reading and writing documentation of a technical nature.
- Ability to comprehend technical procedures.
- Ability to prioritize work and manage responsibilities based on departmental and production needs.
- Ability to read mechanical drawings.
- Ability to use multimeters and mechanical measurement equipment.
- Ability to use hand tools and ability to manipulate mechanical assemblies with their hands.
- SolidWorks is a plus.
- Computer skills - i.e., an understanding of software structure and directory navigation.
