Refrigerator Technician

$22 to $28.00/hour
in Billerica plant

The Refrigeration Technician will be responsible for the testing, building, and the maintenance of company?s refrigeration systems. The ideal candidate would be an organized self-starter who is driven that can work both individually and as a team.

o    Inspect, analyze, and troubleshoot systems and equipment
o    Perform preventive and corrective maintenance on refrigeration and cooling equipment, including repairing leaks
o    Set-up refrigeration tests with experimental expansion devices, compressors, evaporators
o    General installation and repair assistance

o    Operate and maintain a clean environment
o    Continuous improvement of procedures and processes
o    Adhere to all safety policies and procedures
o    Complete other work assignments as described by supervisor

o    Trade school, HVAC school, EPA608 certification, or equivalent
o    Experience working with refrigeration systems or HVAC
o    MS Office (Word, Excel, Outlook) experience
o    High attention to detail
o    Good oral and written communication
o    Ability to stand for long periods of time
o    Ability to lift 10 pounds daily and up to 50 pounds occasionally
o    Willingness to take direction as needed and the drive to jump into each day with a good attitude!
