Job Description
Overall Responsibilities:
The responsibility of the incoming inspector is to maintain quality standards by approving incoming materials, in process productions, and finished products; recording quality results.
Duties:
Perform detailed inspections and verify production articles based on comparisons to representative samples and recognized industry standards;
Perform First Article Inspections; accurately complete QC Documentation; perform data entry and other relevant compute based operations;
Proficient with all types of inspections (mechanical, PCB, PCBA, visual, cosmetic, etc.) and able to support inspection activities in any area (IQC/RMA) as needed;
Read and understand inspection instructions, drawings, deviations, product change notices, and other forms of related documentation;
Satisfactory completion of all company training to include but not limited to PC-A-600 & IPC-A-620; satisfactory completion of in-house training within one month of employment;
Use appropriate measurement tools, gages and meters as required, to measure and verify quality characteristics identified in inspection instructions, drawings, processes, etc;
Use magnification to visually inspect electronic components and PCA sub-assemblies to verify conformance to applicable industry and contractual requirements.
Performs other duties as assigned
Education:
High School diploma preferred
Experience:
One (1) year manufacturing experience preferred
