QC Supervisor, Meter Production

This position, located in Billerica, will supervise both the incoming raw materials inspection and QC meter release departments.

Essential Responsibilities and Accountabilities
- Incoming Inspection
- Improve flow of work thru Incoming Inspection.
- Work with R&D , OEM, and Nova Mfg. engineers to establish inspection characteristics.
- Work with Supplier Quality Engineering to improve turnaround in MRB.
- Upkeep and chart core metrics on a monthly basis.
- Work with Quality Engineering in the development of Quality Plans and other Quality Engineering related tasks.
- Support Incoming Inspection at the Manning Road facility as needed with training and labor resources.

Meter QC
- Review meter DHR?s for final release.
- Conduct line clearance activities for meter production including RMA products.
- Inspect and release meter finished goods to inventory.
- Generate and maintain C of C?s for meter and docking station lots.
- Assist in establishing test procedures and processes as new product lines are introduced.
- Extract data from QRS database and create meter manufacturing dept. metric graphs on a monthly basis.
- Perform meter validations as needed.

General
- Monitor/approve/edit employee time in Ultipro.
- Develop training requirements for both the incoming inspection and meter QC departments .
- Ensure data entry is performed for all raw materials, and production lots of meters, docking stations and accessories.
- Revise existing procedures based on improvements or changes (as applicable).
- Ensure current revision of procedures are used in meter QC and incoming inspection.
- Maintain test equipment and ensure all PM?s and calibrations are completed on time.

BS in Management, Quality or Engineering, or equivalent with 5 years working in a GMP and ISO regulated environment. 2 - 3 years experience in a supervisory role.
