Company located in Billerica is looking to fill openings for a Utility Person

Description of Tasks:
-Finish handwork, assembly, polishing and grinding operations on parts to achieve drawing requirements with no supervision. Assist with all shop production and setup operations. Hot spin helper operations that include operating head stock and compounds to perform job, rotating of the tooling or part, setting up, starting and monitoring torches to achieve and maintain proper tooling and part temperatures. Ability to perform basic fabrication operations including drilling, tapping, buffing, deburring, generation of weld preps and other process to prepare plates, in process parts and rework parts for manufacturing. Rigging, staging, flipping product and tooling for all operations. Trimming operation of aluminum product. Material handling operations that include but not are not limited to the moving of parts and tooling between operations and storage, removal of scrap. Clean up of machinery and tooling, coat tooling with proper rust preventatives, perform general shop, yard housekeeping clean up and emptying trash. Organize and maintain product and tooling storage, maintain proper inventory levels for shop supplies, production parts and hand tools. Level of Supervision Varies per Class.

1st shift hours are (6:00 am to 2:30 pm)
2nd shift hours are (2:15 pm to 10:15 pm)

We are a Union Shop with the Teamsters Local No. 170, of which you are required to join in order to work here.

2nd shift positions pays an additional shift premium of $1.75/hr. as well as a paid 30 minute lunch.

A few things to point out that are required for an employee to work here:
    You must be a US citizen. No Dual citizenship is allowed.
