The Law Office of Louis S. Haskell is lookinig for a Bilingual  Legal Assistant to join our team. .

Position: Bilingual Legal Assistant (Khmer)
Location: Lowell, MA
Pay rate: $15.00-$20.00 per hour (DOE)

Available Schedule
Work Schedule: Monday - Friday  9:00am - 6:00 PM

High volume law office seeking full-time Legal Assistant. This is a great opportunity to work for a fast-paced law firm. Our office is looking for a bright and motivated candidate who has excellent attention to detail. Prior law office experience is not required.

Job description and responsibilities
- Duties may include, but are not limited to:
- Managing Calendar and appointments
- Scheduling and completing forms and applications with clients
- Drafting documents and correspondence
- Providing assistance to attorneys as needed
- Providing Assistance to Clients as needed
- Assembling exhibits, affidavits, and other legal documents
- Performing general administrative duties
- Data Entry; and
- Other duties as assigned.

Requirements
- Proficient in Khmer
- Able to multitask and prioritize
- Detail oriented
- Able to follow directions and work independently
- Willing and able to learn new skills
- Good to excellent typists
- Excellent at customer service
- Proficient with MS Word

The following would be considered a plus, but not required:
- Having sufficient typing skills to process Dictation
- Experience with computer networks or hardware
- Experience with websites and other marketing
- Experience with tax, bookkeeping and/or accounting

Requirements:
High School Diploma or Equivalent
