Job Description

Majilite, a manufacturer and global supplier of specialty films and luxury faux leather and suede for retail design, luxury yachts, VIP aircraft, hospitality, automotive and commercial and specialty design, is looking for a highly motivated visionary to lead the sales organization and accelerate our next phase of growth.  Reporting to the President, the successful candidate for this key position must be an individual who possess an expertise in sales and marketing with 10+ years of experience focused on growth and innovation. This is an outstanding opportunity for a collaborative, customer-focused professional with global exposure to work closely with leadership to set the vision and foster company growth through a variety of sales channels. - Overall responsibility includes leading commercial sales, marketing, and revenue growth through expert financial management and strategic planning.
- Directly oversee team of sales, marketing and customer service professionals
- Create and sustain a Team environment of accountability, where results are expected whether given or received
- Define, align and deploy optimal sales and service model aligning cross functional Teams ? geography, service line, etc. driving maximum value for Majilite and our customers
- Evolve the sales approach to be proactive by executing an operating cadence and utilizing tools/systems to manage key behaviors; inspect results and drive accountability based on specific KPIs enabling the business to better forecast financial performance through accurate forecasting and pipeline management
- Hire, as needed, high-performing sales and service professionals and establish training programs to strengthen all Teams
- Travel will be global, developing relationships at new business accounts while maintaining long standing relationships with customers, distributors, end users and Original Equipment Manufacturers (OEM?s)
- Evaluate existing and additional propositions and tactics to drive customer commitments (locked business) examples: retainers, discounted fees, exclusivity/resale agreements, etc.
- Determine and implement strategic and/or tactical plans to win profitable new business
- Assure company branding is consistent with company mission, values and growth goals.

Education & Experience
- B.A. or M.A. degree in a business-related field
- Experience in sales/marketing within a product-based manufacturing organization, preferably in contract manufacturing
- A high degree of independence to take action while also being a collaborative, team player
- Ability to analyze and interpret long-term market and customer information into actionable insights and priorities
- Ability to effectively communicate with a wide range of professionals, customers and clients
- Excellent interpersonal skills, including high emotional intelligence, the ability to gain acceptance of ideas, and the ability to build trust
-  Exceptional customer service skills and business ethics
- Excellent presentation skills capable of conceptualizing and/or building presentations and marketing collateral
- Driven, energetic, and tenacious; willing to work extended hours when necessary and perform at a high level of productivity
