Job Description

The Town of Billerica seeks applicants for the position of Project Manager Engineer

Duties
Under the direct supervision of the Town Engineer, performs professional Civil Engineering duties of minor difficulty and complexity relating to the design, review, and construction of Public Works projects, including but not limited to roadways, sidewalks, sewer, stormwater, and water systems with latitude for independent and unreviewed action or decision, and to perform all other duties as required.

Requirements
1.    Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering with at least 5 years of related work experience.  FE or PE license is preferred.
2.    Valid Massachusetts driver's license.
3.    Has knowledge of civil engineering principles and practices, ability to effectively manage multiple tasks in a detailed and organized manner, excellent oral and written communication skills, and proficient computer skills. Proficiency in the use of Autodesk Civil 3D CAD is a plus.  A strong construction background in Public Works projects is preferred.
4.    Substitutions for requirements will be at the discretion of the Director of Public Works.

Salary:
$40.04-$47.31 per hour

Hours - Monday thru Friday  7:30 am to 4 pm
