Company in North Billerica is looking for a full time Tool & Die Maker

M-Th 6am - 4:30pm

Job Functions:
Include the following: Other duties may be assigned.
Order and maintain tooling spare parts inventory
Set up and maintain a tool work order system
Set up and schedule tooling PM?s
Schedule die preps
Oversee last piece reviews
Organize and maintain die cylinders
Order shot tips
Establish shot count system to track tip life and work to reduce usage
Establish and maintain spare core inventory
Must be able to use all shop measuring tools.
Must be able to read & interpret blueprints, part prints, and components drawings.
Working knowledge of GD&T a plus.
Background and knowledge of operating engine lathes, Bridgeport millers, surface grinding equipment, drill press, band saw, & welding equipment.

Education/Experience:
Two year certification/trade school and 5-7 years experience
Ability to fit mating components
Knowledge of fitting and assembling dies
Ability to read blueprints
Familiar with die cast, trim dies and CNC machines
Excellent communication skills-verbal and written
Strong organizational and time management skills
Proficient with Microsoft software: Word, Excel, Outlook, etc.
Ability to relate and communicate well with people
Operate effectively in stressful situations
Ability to multi-task
Wages based on background & experience.

Physical Demands:
Occasionally lifts or moves equipment weighing up to 50 pounds.
Must be able to Ascend/Descend, work atop ladders and equipment.
Must be able to Sit, Stand, Walk, Climb, Stoop, Kneel.
Constantly positions self to maintain and repair equipment.
