Summary: Responsible for the visual inspection of printed circuit board assemblies in various stages of production
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
Must be able to perform the following duties with proficiency:
- Inspecting Printed Circuit Boards
- Inspecting Printed Circuit Board Assemblies
- Performing visual inspection using a microscope
- Completing documentation and delivering inspected Printed Circuit Boards
- Works with minimal supervision and may be responsible for training others.
- Will work with many different departments within the company
Requirements
- Experience in a directly related industry is preferred.
- Ability to work with small components and a microscope.
- Strong attention to detail is essential to this position.
- Basic math and computer skills
- Good communications skills
- Ability to read and write English.
- Demonstrated ability to interpret drawings, Bill of Materials (BOMs) and Visual Aids assuring overall product conformity.
- Excellent near-sighted vision
- Preferred Education High School/GED
- IPC-A-610 Certification preferred

Education and/or Experience
High school diploma or general education degree (GED); or one to three months related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
Language Skills
Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals. Ability to write routine reports and correspondence.
Mathematical Skills
Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals.
Reasoning Ability
Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out detailed but uninvolved written or oral instructions. Ability to deal with problems involving a few concrete variables in standardized situations.
Computer Skills
To perform this job successfully, an individual should have general knowledge of ERP Database software and general computer operation.
