Title: General Maintenance Laborer/Landscaper (Multiple Vacancies Available)

Unit: Part-Time Non-Unit

Department: Facilities Department

Reports To: Director of Facilities

General Summary: Individuals in this position will complete janitorial, custodial, housekeeping, grounds keeping or maintenance tasks. Vacancies are available on the Bedford and Lowell Campuses for part-time assistance in facilities operations.

Essential Job Functions:

Operates motor vehicles
Assists craftspeople performing building and grounds maintenance
Sweeps floors and sidewalks, rakes leaves and operates grounds maintenance equipment
Loads, unloads, and cleans vehicles
Removes trash and recyclables
Maintains clean and safe work areas
Assist in beautification of campus grounds
Performs other duties as required

Requirements:
Ability to follow oral and written instructions.
Ability to understand and apply the laws, rules, regulations, policies, procedures, specifications, standards and guidelines governing assigned unit activities.
Ability to establish and maintain harmonious working relationships with others.
Ability to lift and carry heavy objects.
Ability to climb and work on ladders and scaffolds.
Valid Driver's license

Additional Information:
Salary Range: $17.25 per hour

Location: Lowell and Bedford Campuses
