Packaging Department (2nd shift)

Our Billerica Strips Manufacturing facility is looking for a Group Leader for the Packaging Department. You'll work under the direction of the, Production Supervisor, supporting the labeling and packaging of test strips. Implementing the day-to-day training, scheduling, employee performance assessment, material processing and equipment maintenance requirements. Help in assessing process methods to minimize process time and material scrap. Support includes working with production & engineering personnel, in ways to keep the operation constantly running.

Essential Responsibilities include a sense of urgency, with high energy and a positive attitude, keeping the Test Strip Packaging constantly running and producing acceptable product. Be capable to train, guide and work with production personnel. Must be able to multitask and be organized. The successful candidate must possess the ability to pay attention to details, following instructions from verbal and written procedures. Candidate must have the personnel drive to learn and operator test equipment. This individual must be dependable and projects a positive attitude. Working knowledge of Microsoft Excel and Microsoft Word. Basic knowledge of SAP preferred, but not required.
