Job Description

Job Purpose
Rapidly growing analog electronics company seeking an Electrical/Mechanical Process Engineer with a strong command of discipline, and a passion for continued learning. The Process Engineer will be responsible for working within the engineering and manufacturing teams to provide support through all of the product development and manufacturing phases for new products.  The major focus will be on testing and qualifying new products and processes, supporting the transition of those products and processes into manufacturing, and then providing engineering support throughout the product lifecycle as needed.  Candidate should be self-starter, who enjoys working in a fast-paced environment and takes initiative while challenging themselves, while working both independently and as part of a team.

Duties and Responsibilities
-    Implement engineering changes and new product releases in the form of Part Drawings, Work
     Instructions, Engineering Change Orders, and Bill of Material, (BOM) updates.
-    Develop processes and equipment to support the NPI process.
-    Assist in the coordination and management of new product introduction schedule and
     activities.
-    Work closely with design, test, quality, mechanical engineers during all phases of product
     development.
-    Conduct and oversee mechanical, electrical, and environmental testing. and develop written
     reports of results and findings of such tests.
-    Create and develop test methodologies while performing failure analysis of existing and new
     products.
-    Assist in organizing, preparing, finalizing, and maintaining documentation for production use
     when required.
-    Support and lead the introduction of new products into manufacturing (including the design
     and updates of manufacturing and test fixtures, work instructions, training, etc.)
-    Develop and maintain DFMEAs, PFMEAs, and control plans as required.
-    Identify and define new and existing internal company processes and find innovative ways to
     improve efficiencies.
-    Support, contribute and promote a safe work environment.
-    Demonstrate behaviors consistent with company policies.

Education and Minimum Qualifications
-    Bachelor?s degree in electrical or mechanical engineering, or similar required.
-    1-3 years in the electronics industry, preferably on a high?mix, high-volume production line.
-    Familiarity with 3D CAD software (Autodesk Inventor or SolidWorks preferred)
-    Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite
-    Excellent Oral and Written Communication Skills
-    Candidate must be a US Person as defined in 8 U.S.C. 1011(a)(20) and/or 8 U.S.C. 1324b(a)(3)

Preferred Qualifications
-    Minimum 1 year experience in an engineering environment (can include internships and
     co-ops)
-    Proficiency with AutoCAD
-    Knowledge of basic GD&T and tolerance stack up analysis.
-    Familiarity with PFMEA and DFMEA
-    Familiarity with root cause analysis
