Job Description

Position Summary:
A packer inspects, stacks and packages finished products.

Essential Functions & Key Responsibilities:

Basic Expectations:
-    Keep work area clean.
-    Inspect product for flaws and remove defects.
-    Ensure correct counts, bags and boxes according to job specifications.
-    Notify Quality Control of production defects as they occur.
-    Notify proper personnel of down machines or stacker issues.
-    Follows quality specifications when packaging product.
-    Adhere to and enforce procedures in regard to Food Defense and HACCP.
-    Other Duties as assigned.
    
Candidate Requirements:
-    High School diploma or equivalent required.
-    Good Eye/Hand coordination.
-    Standing approximately 90 percent of work time.
-    Must be able to work overtime.
-    Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs.
