Job Description

Job Summary
As a Prepress Operator, you will be responsible for preflight, prep and proof of digital art files utilizing a variety of industry standard software, as well as perform color corrections, create impositions and perform variable data programming. You will interact with sales, account managers and production managers to ensure the quality and on-time delivery of each job.

Duties and Responsibilities
    Preflight all supplied files using appropriate software (InDesign, Photoshop, Illustrator, etc.).
    Perform color corrections as directed.
    Create press impositions using Preps and/or Metrix imposition software.
    Interact with internal managers as well as customers.

Qualifications
    Minimum of 5 years? experience as a prepress operator.
    Experience with Adobe Creative Suite (Adobe InDesign, Illustrator and Photoshop). Experience with Xerox XMPie, uStore, and Xinet asset management system a plus.
    Strong knowledge of prepress workflows. Experience with Esko Automation Engine and/or WebCenter a plus.
    Experience with Microsoft office products (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
    Variable data experience a plus.
    Effective communication and problem-solving skills.

Job Type: Full-time
Salary: $30.00 - $32.00 per hour
