Brick Project Technician

Carpentry experience is a huge plus because there is a lot of cutting/measuring for the role. Also if someone comes from masonry it is a huge plus.

Job summary

o    Support all bricking assembly aspects of the manufacturing process with little or no guidance.
o    Perform complex bricking installations on all standard and special company products.

Essential duties and responsibilities

o    Brick complex products using drawings and other related documentation.
o    Work with engineers and other support functions on Bricking related issues.
o    Work as a contributing member in a team manufacturing setting.
o    Follow ISO procedures.
o    Strictly adhere to all company safety procedures.
o    Verify work performed by others.
o    Lead/supervise team members.
o    Manage Materials for department.
o    Perform other related duties as directed.
o    Strictly adhere to all company safety policies.

Other duties and responsibilities

o    Ability to assume Team Lead duties including, but not limited to, managing the bricking projects.

Skills and knowledge

o    Proficiency with hand tools and related power equipment.
o    Read and understand complex drawings and related Bill of Materials (BOMs).
o    Advanced understanding of Material Requirement Planning (MRP) system.

Education and experience

o    High school graduate and 2 or more years? related experience.
