Position Description:
This position is responsible for assisting in the day to day operations of the facilities process. Under general supervision, the Facilities Technician provides support for all maintenance related needs throughout the company.
Responsibilities:
Assisting with general cleaning of the facility, [i.e. vacuuming and sweeping of floors, cleaning of ceiling tiles and air conditioning vents, window cleaning interior and exterior etc.]
Cleaning and restocking of restrooms and breakrooms.
Other various cleaning duties as required (including but not limited to mopping, sweeping, vacuuming, wiping, washing, polishing and dusting floors, carpet, walls, windows, and doors; trash removal; cleaning restrooms; stairwells, offices and other areas).
Assisting Facilities Department staff with projects as needed.
Helps to maintain adequate custodial supply stocks.
Assists and serves as back up to other Facilities employees.
Education and Experience
High School diploma or GED.
At least two years of verifiable experience (three or more highly desirable) maintaining various building interiors and exteriors.
Required Skills
Comfortable with cleaning fluids
Comfortable with the use of a 6? ladder
Lifting 30 ? 40 pounds occasionally
Familiarity with hand and battery powered tools would be helpful but not necessary.
Limited to professional working proficiency in English is required.
