Job Description
SUMMARY
The Greater Lowell Ad Sales Representative for HLN Publishing Inc. is responsible for generating revenue by selling advertising space on local restaurant menus within the Greater Lowell area of Massachusetts. This is a remote position requiring a self-starter who can work independently and is highly motivated, results-oriented, with strong communication and sales skills.
Salary & Hours:$500 weekly drawn against commission; 20 hours per week
ROLE AND RESPONSIBILITIES
- Identify and prospect potential advertisers within the Greater Lowell area, focusing on local businesses that align with the restaurant's clientele.
- Develop and maintain relationships with restaurant owners and managers in the Greater Lowell region.
- Prepare and deliver sales pitches to potential advertisers
- Ensure accurate and timely placement of advertisements on menus.
- Provide excellent customer service to both advertisers and restaurants within the designated territory.
- Meet or exceed monthly sales quotas.
QUALIFICATIONS- Proven track record of experience in sales
- Strong understanding of the restaurant industry in the Greater Lowell region.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
- Self-motivated and able to work independently in a remote environment.
- Demonstrated ability to be a self-starter and manage time effectively.
- Ability to build and maintain relationships with clients remotely.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office or similar software.
- Comfortable using virtual communication and sales tools.
- Familiarity with the Greater Lowell area is a plus.
