Job Description

Nova Biomedical is hiring a Test Engineer II in our Billerica, MA (Enterprise Rd) facility (8:00 AM - 5:00 PM). The Test Engineer II develops test systems and strategies for various electrical and electromechanical assemblies. The Test Engineer also leads process and product improvement initiatives and troubleshoots printed circuit board assemblies. Other responsibilities include:

-    Designing, documenting, validating, and implementing test fixtures and procedures into
     manufacturing. Documentation includes test procedures, test fixture information, validation,
     calibration and preventive maintenance procedures, and training.
-    Providing technical assistance to Manufacturing and QC in resolving issues related to electrical
     test and field failures.
-    Providing root-cause analysis for failed electrical components and assemblies.
-    Reviewing failure mode data and developing corrective actions to improve processes and
     products.

Qualifications/Skills and Competencies:
-    Knowledge of electronic components
-    Ability to use electronic lab equipment such as oscilloscopes, multimeters, and function
     generators.
-    Ability to use Microsoft Office.
-    Ability to understand and create circuit schematics.
-    Ability to develop basic test software.
-    Knowledge of personal computers.

Education/Experience:
-    Associate's Degree or Bachelor's Degree in Electrical Engineering or Engineering Technology
-    3-5 years of relevant experience. Must have experience developing test systems and strong
     organization and verbal skills.
