brMilliporeSigma is looking for a Process Development Scientist to join the Technical and Scientific Solutions team in the Southeast region based in Raleigh, North Carolina.  The Process Development Scientist is part of a worldwide team of engineers and scientists reporting into the technical support group for MilliporeSigma's Process Solutions business. br
brResponsibilities include but are not limited to:ul
liProactively pursuing and performing process development studies for the purification of therapeutic proteins using MilliporeSigma technologies such as sterile, depth, tangential flow and virus filtration and chromatography./li
liInvolvement in filter selection and sizing, process optimization, and technology transfer activities associated with the purification of new pharmaceuticals./li
liProvide consultation to customers through email or teleconference calls./li
liCollaborate and work with customer process development groups in the Midwest region./li
liWork collaboratively with a team of local MilliporeSigma account managers to provide technical expertise to local customers./li
liAdequately document customer interfacing activities./li
liCommunicate and work effectively in cross-functional teams, influence technical approaches, and support strategy execution./li/ul

bMinimum Qualifications:/b

ul
liBachelors Degree in Chemical Engineering, Biochemistry, or other life science discipline. /li
li3+ years of experience in pharmaceutical development or technology implementation./li
li3+ years of downstream pharmaceutical development experience./li/ul

bPreferred Qualifications:/b
br
ul
liMaster's Degree in Engineering or Scientific discipline.  /li
liExperience writting experimental reports and other appropriate documentation./li
liExceptional hands-on laboratory, analytical, and technology skills./li/ulRSREMDbr
