Training Description

1) General topics covered: Machine tool safety, blueprint reading, precision measurement,
Bandsaws, Manual Lathe operations, Manual Mill operations, Prototrak Mill operations, CNC machining center set, program and operation. CNC Turning center setup, programming and operation.

2) Equipment Tools Used: Horizontal band saw, Manual lathe, Manual Mill with Prototrak, Haas CNC Mill, Haas CNC Lathe. Optical Comparator, Height Gauge, OD / ID Micrometers, Depth Micrometers, Dial Calipers. Screw pitch Micrometers.

3) Certifications: MACWIC Level 1 and Level 2 and OSHA-10

4) Program will prepare graduates for an entry-level position as a Machine Operator and CNC Machine Operator.

Proof of HS graduation diploma, GED or HiSet Unemployed or Underemployed TABE test basic English and Math skills Satisfactory CORI results
