Position Summary: Oversees the operation of a branch office and extends credit to individuals and businesses through a variety of loan programs, while demonstrating exceptional customer service and adhering to bank policies and procedures.

Essential Functions:
1. Consistently provides superior professional service to internal and external customers, following the standards of the Customer Impressions program.
2. Consistently meets expectations of teamwork, punctuality and regular, reliable attendance.
3. Demonstrates effective knowledge and management of bank policies and procedures relating to security, branch internal control document, operations, and facilities.
4. Demonstrates knowledge and results in all areas of loan origination.
5. Effectively performs in the area of human resource management and development, i.e. staff meetings, staffing levels, performance evaluations, communication, hiring, coaching, training, and staff development.
6. Effectively demonstrates supervisory, leadership, and administrative skills.
7. Actively pursues business development opportunities to build and maintain customer base, deposit and loan portfolios, and introduce self to customers and market.
8. Demonstrates commitment to personal and professional development by attending programs/ seminars and participating in business development and networking opportunities.
9. Serves as a board member/volunteer for at least one not-for-profit organization.
10. Facilitates and manages branch referrals for other services, i.e. commercial lending, financial services, cash management, merchant services, and payroll.
11. Works with facilities department to ensure safe, professional, and welcoming presentation of branch.
12. Maintains a working knowledge of the BSA requirements and related policies and procedures.
13. Reviews Large Currency Transaction records to ensure accuracy and completeness.
14. Assists all retail staff when questions arise and refers questions or problems to the BSA Officer or Security Officer.
15. Coordinates the ongoing training of all branch employees in their BSA responsibilities.
16. Holds periodic sessions to inform branch employees of any new or updated changes in the Bank Secrecy Act, to maintain compliance at a satisfactory level.
17. Works with branch staff, as needed, in reporting suspicious activity.

Education, Experience, and Skills Required:
The following skills, experience, or background are necessary (with or without accommodation) for this position.
1. Undergraduate degree or equivalent experience in a business related field.
2. A minimum of five (5) years of retail banking experience.
3. A minimum of five (5) years of demonstrated leadership and management experience.
4. Strong interpersonal and communication skills, verbal and written.
5. Strong knowledge of current technology and ability to adapt to changing technology.

Physical Demands/Conditions Requirements:
1. General office environment.
2. Sits for an extended period of time.
3. Frequent use of computer.

In addition to being responsible for completing an accurate Large Currency Transaction record for each cash transaction in excess of $10,000, Customer Service Representatives and Lenders are responsible for properly identifying all new bank customers in accordance with the bank’s Customer Identification Program.
