SUMMARY:
FLEXcon is seeking a full-time, weekend night shift ELECTRICAL TECHNICIAN who will follow the company PM Program and troubleshoot equipment problems in a very clean operation/work environment that follows Covid guidelines, has a great team, and a comprehensive benefits package! The position requires a broad knowledge of company equipment and controls. An electrical license is NOT required. Schedule is Friday-Sunday from 6:00pm-6:00am.

DUTIES:
~ Repair a variety of electrical equipment, motors, transformers, and relays following LOTO, preventative maintenance and calibration procedures in compliance with National Electrical Code and 70E
~ Read drawings, OEM manuals, and schematics to complete assignments
~ Make appropriate changes to wiring diagrams as needed
~ Diagnose and troubleshoot electrical and control circuits
~ Install electrical pipe, pull wires, and make terminations as needed
~ Keep all work orders and spare parts updated
~ Work with all production and support departments, including some work in a rated clean room
~ Could be required to come in for plant emergencies

REQUIREMENTS:
~ High School Diploma/GED and formal technical school education in electricity and machine controls
~ Min. age 18
~ 3-5 yrs. industrial electrical experience including AC/DC drive experience
~ Previous web handling experience, a plus
~ Knowledge of Allen Bradley equipment and software, preferred
~ Must be able to understand machine controls and follow schematics
~ Must demonstrate the use of a multi-meter
~ Must be computer literate to use a laptop to connect to PLCs and drives to troubleshoot and make repairs
~ Must be able to use basic hand tools, power tools, multi-meters, benders, and calibration equipment
~ Must be able to operate light equipment, forklifts, and manlifts
~ Must be able to set up and climb ladders and work outdoors on uneven ground
~ Must be able to pass CORI check, drug test, and physical
~ Qualified candidates must be legally authorized on an unrestricted basis (US Citizen, Legal Permanent Resident, Refugee or Asylee) to be employed in the US. FLEXcon does not anticipate providing employment related work sponsorship for this position (e.g., H-1B status)
