Sales Manager, Solar - Commercial Roofing Products Division

Position
OMG's Roofing Products division offers the industry's broadest line of specialty fasteners, plates, insulation adhesives, retrofit roof drains, pipe supports, roof mounts (including solar attachments) and productivity tools for low slope roofing applications. One key to the success of our business is the growth of our solar program. Reporting to the Business Manager, the Sales Manager is responsible for strengthening existing accounts and developing new accounts within roofing and solar installation markets. In this capacity, the Sales Manager needs to have excellent selling and communication skills to work the entire account, including leaders in purchasing, sales management, technical support, marketing, and operations. The Sales Manager is responsible for driving enthusiasm for our solar product portfolio and facilitating the pull through sales process.

Responsibilities
Promote safety as the Number 1 priority of
Within each of the key solar channels, develop relationships with current and prospective accounts to increase the book of business.
implement account call schedule and action plans that deliver results supporting the Solar Business Unit Strategic
Provide technical assistance to customers
Engage OMG's Roofing Technical and Field Sales teams to support and promote solar product sales and performance in the
Staff solar specific tradeshows- assist with planning, organizing and executing with the Solar and Marketing
Execute marketing and promotional
Collect Voice-of-Customer to help inform New Product Development
Acquire and demonstrate a solid understanding of the technical aspects of the Roofing Products (RP) product line and Solar product
Communicate effectively with the Business Manager, Solar regarding product demand forecast and the fulfillment
Perform other tasks as assigned.

Requirements
Bachelor of Arts or Sciences Degree or
4+ years Sales and Account Management
Ability to effectively understand and explain all products and
Ability to act in a professional manner with employees, customers and
Ability to develop lasting business
Strong presentation development and delivery
Ability to overcome obstacles and complete assignments in a timely, independent manner.
Strong PC skills including experience with MS Office
Willingness to travel (up to 50%) to meet assigned account demands -- including rooftop visits.
Ability to walk, stand, stoop, kneel, crouch, crawl, use hands to finger, handle, or feel objects, reach with hands and arms, climb or balance; and regularly lift and/or move up to 25
