JOB DESCRIPTION

Help schedule emergency supports crisis staff to provide life-saving mental and behavioral health services to individuals in Western Massachusetts!

Become a part of our team of competent and compassionate professionals as the Staff Scheduler in our Emergency Services and Supports Crisis program at Behavioral Health Network! Staff Schedulers prepare and organize work schedules for the Emergency Services and Supports Crisis program to ensure there are enough staff on duty in any and every shift. Working with the staff development and scheduling supervisors, they fill any vacant shifts, resolve scheduling inconsistencies and issues, and manage time off requests.

Additionally, Staff Schedulers train program staff about scheduling policies and procedures and provide shift supervisory with scheduling updates and changes to ensure accuracy and efficiency of work shifts. Staff Schedulers keep the scheduling database of daily, weekly, and monthly staff schedules accurate and up-to-date, and they help facilitate and organize required holiday staff scheduling to ensure the 24/7 program continues uninterrupted.

BHN's Emergency Services and Supports Crisis Program provides 24/7 front line response to individuals of all ages who are experiencing a behavioral health crisis, regardless of insurance. BHN provides services on a mobile basis, including home and community-based settings or in an emergency department when needed.

JOB REQUIREMENTS

Staff Schedulers at Behavioral Health Network have the following qualities:

High School Diploma or GED equivalent (required).
Prior experience in managing the scheduling needs of a large team of staff.
Knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook and other computer software used to complete job tasks (required).
Strong communication skills, especially verbal/oral communication (required).
Excellent ability to work as part of a team (required).
Good interpersonal skills (required).
Excellent time management abilities (required).
