FPGA Engineer for a contract opportunity with Yoh's client located in Northampton, MA

Pay Rate: $70/hr. ( No Perdiem Available)

Temp position projected to go until 07/16/2021 unless extended

US Citizenship

Willing to relocate for assignment ( No relocation assistance available)

What You'll Be Doing:

This is NOT a Remote position, candidate MUST report to the Northampton, MA site daily for work.

Client is currently looking for an experienced, accomplished, self-motivated Electrical Engineer to design FPGA for maritime applications. The Electrical Engineer must be capable of FPGA design utilizing VHDL and have strong hardware / firmware troubleshooting skills. The ideal candidate must be capable of FPGA design in a video processing application.

Qualifications:

* Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering.

* Minimum 8 years in FPGA design experience in a development environment.

Preferred Additional Skills:

* Experience using FPGA in a video processing application.

* Experience interfacing to COTS cameras and CMOS sensors.

* Strong hardware troubleshooting skills is desired

* Excellent verbal and written communication skills

* Familiarity with DOORs is a plus
