Neenah is looking for an innovative and hardworking individual in search of an entry to mid-level position to join our growing finance team. The cost analyst position will work closely with our finance, operations, and business teams. At Neenah, a successful candidate will support ongoing business activities by providing costing support, analyzing financial data and subsequently providing guidance in order to reduce costs and maximize profitability. This position will provide support to our Northeast Mills covering multiple mills.

Candidate can reside in and or near Pittsfield or Lowville. Candidate will need to travel to supporting locations monthly, estimated 15% to 20% of the time.

Essential Duties:
Provide financial, business and process analytics to enable operations and business teams to achieve or exceed business objectives.
Work on improvements and updates with standard costs and BOM's
Support related process initiatives to ensure improved performance.
Provide financial planning and forecasting to meet business requirements.
Work with Mills as well as Corporate accounting teams to ensure a timely and accurate month end closing.
Develop a thorough working knowledge of the Oracle ERP costing, cost savings, accounting, and inventory systems.
Provide effective and accurate KPI's and performance reporting for all areas of responsibility.
A desire to learn and take on new challenges and opportunities within the business.
Ability to work and communicate effectively in a team-oriented, collaborative environment.
Safety Engagement

Qualifications
Experience preferred: 3 to 5 years
Bachelors Degree in finance/accounting or related field.
Manufacturing experience preferred but not required.
Experience in the following areas is preferred:
Demonstrated analytical, conceptual and problem-solving skills
Ability to communicate business information to internal and external customers
Experience with cost accounting preferred
Preferred experience in operating systems
Preferred Microsoft Office proficiency
