Job Application

National Ambulance Handicap Van Operators operate a lift equipped Handicap Van providing door to door transportation services to our handicap wheelchair bound patients, by bringing them to and from doctor?s appointments and medical procedures.

Positions Open: Hourly, Full Time & Part-Time, in Springfield, MA

Responsibilities:

A Handicap Van Operator needs to be able to provide transportation services for a disabled person. Using a van that's equipped with a lift and a mechanism to secure a wheelchair, the transport Operator wheels the patient to the van, safely raises the patient into the van on the lift, secures the patient's wheelchair and transports the patient to their destination. Upon arriving at the destination, the Operator detaches the wheelchair security device, safely lowers the patient out of the van using the lift, and wheels the patient to her destination.

Ideal Candidate Will Have:

No prior experience required, we will train you!
-Able to speak English
-Be 18 years old
-Valid Driver's License
-No Motor Vehicle Accidents on Driving Record for past 3 years
