Office Assistant

Position Description

Our company is looking for an Office Assistant to be responsible for handling customer service and clerical task in our office. Responsibilities will include answering incoming phone calls, responding to emails, updating paperwork, and performing other general office clerk duties. Because we are a small team, we are looking for someone who can think independently and can easily adapt to a variety of tasks which may include helping with inventory or shipping if time is available. A self-motivated individual who can work both independently and as a team is crucial. Previous experience with computer accounting programs such as Quickbooks and MS Office preferable.

Our current location is in South Deerfield and we will be relocating to Northampton in a couple of months.

Office Assistant Requirements:

High school diploma.
Experience as an office assistant or in related field.
Ability to write clearly and help with word processing when necessary.
Self-motivated with strong communication skills.
Bilingual English/Spanish preferred.
Experience with Quickbooks Desktop preferred.
We are a smoke-free facility and property.

Special skills required (training, licenses, language fluency, etc.)
