Description

OVERVIEW:
Under minimal supervision, performs a variety of repetitive duties to set up and operate a rotational molding machine to produce various sizes of plastic containers and custom products. Performs a variety of secondary operations to roto-molded products as required.

What You’ll Do:
Works from both written and verbal instructions on blueprints and manufacturing work orders to produce a product that meets the required specifications.
Follows standard safety and manufacturing procedures as documented.
Follows established company and department policies and procedures.
Uses a variety of powered and manual hand tools, motorized hoists, gantries and other equipment used in the production process.
Performs or assists in machine operations to set up and service molds, monitor instrument controls, check product quality and make adjustments as required.
Demonstrates and shares technical knowledge with others in training.
Performs secondary operations on the molded products as required.
Maintains established Pelican quality standards.
Maintains work area(s) and equipment in a safe, clean, and orderly condition.
Maintains daily production and other records as required.

What You’ll Need:
High School Diploma or equivalent
Must be able to understand and follow all established safety procedures and guidelines.
Must be able to operate machinery and controls.
