Description

POSITION DESCRIPTION: The Fundraising and Grants Manager designs, guides, executes, evaluates, and continually improves BFAIR's donor strategies essential for achieving the agency's fundraising goals. Through donor engagement this position will grow our private and corporate donor bases. The Fundraising and Grants Manager is responsible for developing and sharing a case for support of BFAIR's Mission as well as assuming a lead role in grant writing and support as needed with service bids and proposals.

QUALIFICATIONS: BA/BS with 5-7 years of successful fundraising and grant writing experience. Knowledge of fundraising strategies and donor relationship best practices along with the ability to motivate volunteers, including donors and Board members. Proficient in donor database systems, the ability to utilize data and information to measure and evaluate fundraising performance. An effective communicator,
including writing and presentation skills, ability to work independently and compliance with deadlines. Must have flexible schedule in order to attend events that may occur in the early morning, evenings and weekends. Ability to complete all initial and ongoing background checks including but not limited to: CORI, SORI, Fingerprinting, LEIE, Driving record, E-verify, Physical, PPD and licensing and/or certification checks (i.e. nursing). Valid US driver's license and ready access to a vehicle require.
