Description

PURPOSE OF POSITIONS
Work in conjunction with Tartts Day Care Center management and team members to provide a safe,
welcoming environment for children and families. Presenting children with a variety of activities and
experiences that support self-esteem, independence and positive attitudes. Help to implement a
developmentally and age-appropriate curriculum for children which enhance skills related to:
Communication; Speech and Language
Exploration, Self-help and Personal care
Social and Emotional Development
Gross and Fine Motor Development
Creative Expression; Art, Sensory, Music and Movement

JOB QUALIFICATIONS

Minimum of a high school diploma or equivalent. Good interpersonal skills required. Must be able to
maintain confidentiality and professional boundaries with staff and families. Must be able to engage in
physical activities while attending to the needs of the center?s children. Must be able to work sensitively
and effectively with individuals of diverse cultural backgrounds.

PAY RANGE
Depending on work experience and EEC Certification
HOURS
Monday Friday
Part-Time Schedule: 7:30AM 12:00PM or 12:00PM 5:30PM
Full Time Schedule: 7:30AM 4:30PM or 8:30AM 5:30PM
