Billerica company is looking for an Engineering Change Coordinator

We are seeking an Engineering Change Coordinator to join our team. This individual will be responsible for the timely and accurate processing and implementation of engineering changes, including enabling optimal utilization of materials and alignment with parts availability. This position will capture, analyze and publicize the cost impact of ECRs in implementation as well as ECRs under consideration. Involvement includes early stages of ECR development, coordinating with engineering, document control, finance, manufacturing and Supply Chain to ensure complete and accurate cut-in. Working with manufacturing, supply chain and finance, they ensure that material dispositions are documented, approved and fully executed in a timely manner.

Essential Job Responsibilities:
Work with engineering, document control, Supply Chain, finance and manufacturing during the draft stages of ECRs to evaluate potential impact and ensure understanding of what actions are required.
Manage implementation of engineering changes, track and report financial impact.
Day to day management of engineering change (ECN) implementations:
Working with Procurement, ensure implementation of revision changes for purchase parts / subassemblies and ensure supply of required new materials.
Work with the Nuvera Inventory Analyst to analyze the quantity and dollar impact of impending ECRs.
Report financial impact of current and proposed ECRs. Track and report cumulative and monthly impact data.
Review and analyze proposed dispositions of residual inventory.
Coordinate activities required to complete disposition.
Process required documentation for efficient disposition.
Physically assist with the disposition process.

Required Job Qualifications (unless otherwise noted):

Educational Background
Associates degree in Business or related discipline (Bachelor?s degree preferred). APICS certification preferred.

Previous Work Experience
Minimum three years? experience in a role requiring management of manufacturing ECR implementation (e.g. engineering, procurement, inventory control)

Skills and Abilities
Experience in manufacturing operations with direct engineering change management coordination in an electronics or electromechanical environment required.  
At least an intermediate level knowledge of MS-Office applications; superior Excel skills including pivot tables, VLOOKUP and other intermediate to advanced skills.
Knowledge of major ERP system(s), SAP preferred.
Strong analytical, problem solving and systems skills.
Demonstrates effective communication skills.
