Tewksbury company looking for a Full Time Paralegal.

Position Summary:
Our newly formed Legal team is seeking an experienced Paralegal who will provide legal support in the areas of contract law, intellectual property portfolio management, litigation and risk management, and corporate governance.

Position Description (Responsibilities):
Provide legal support for general corporate matters assisting with corporate governance, due diligence, trademark and copyright issues, and contract review
Help to establish and implement best practices for the processing of all legal matters, maintenance of business records, and monitoring compliance with the Company?s legal policies and procedures
Contracts: Work cross-functionally with our business teams to prepare, draft, review, and process routine contracts and other legal documents. Track status of contracts from intake to execution and help manage post-execution compliance.
Intellectual Property: Review and affirm compliance of marketing and product copy to registered IP.  Track IP portfolio and ensure requests are in line with Company?s IP strategy. Participate in enforcement calls with outside counsel and is the liaison between the legal and marketing teams.
Corporate Governance: Responsible for KYC and associated due diligence checks on customers/ brokers/agents in compliance with our policies. Draft corporate organizational documents, prepare routine corporate filings and keep entity minute books up to date.
Litigation: Responsible for litigation and risk management reporting, matter management, and related invoice processing

Requirements:
Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience required
3-5 years of working experience as a paralegal, legal assistant, or a related role.
Ability to perform basic legal research, writing, and analysis.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills to communicate effectively with attorneys and clients.
Requires strong organizational skills with a high degree of attention to detail.
Ability to exercise independent judgment and to effectively prioritize work.
Highly confident team player and self-starter.
Experience interacting with all levels of management, global cross-functional teams, and stakeholders.
Must display effective use of Microsoft Word, Excel, and corporate and legal databases.
Intellectual Property management experience is highly desired.
