Tewksbury company looking for a Full Time Key Account Manager

Position Summary:
We have an immediate opening for a Key Account Manager to join our Independent Channel Sales Team.  This dynamic, highly visible role is responsible for building and executing a growth plan that executes WellPet?s strategy.  This role will have a particular emphasis on growing small and mid-size independent pet store chains. The ideal candidate will be based in the Northeast near a major transportation hub and will spend approximately 60% of their time in the field.

Position Description (Responsibilities):
Establish and maintain good business relationships with key regional accounts
Develop and manage a business forecast which aligns to goals
Manage trade funds, including ROI analyses
Analyze and understand the critical drivers impacting the business and develop strategies and tactics that capitalize on these drivers
Understand and utilize all key measurements available to manage the business pace
Execution of account-specific marketing initiatives
Create and implement new item launch plans
Deliver thought leadership within the account to establish WellPet as THE category resource
Identify and develop strong working relationships with cross-functional team members
Champion business needs for assigned accounts
Demonstrate clear ownership, leadership, and accountability
Communicate crucial market, trade, and competitive information on a timely basis
Live the WellPet Culture and Values, doing whatever it takes for the pets who depend on us

This position is ideal for a CPG sales professional with natural pet experience who can travel 60% of the time. Other requirements include:
A bachelor?s degree or 5+ years of proven success and progression within the sales function in the CPG industry
MS Outlook, Excel, and PowerPoint skills
Experience analyzing your assigned business and demonstrated ability to use data to drive decision making
Independent and self-driven with great time management skills
Effective control of process and projects; detail-oriented and organized
Strong relationship management skills
Customer-focused with high standards of integrity
Creative thinking and problem-solving abilities
Energized by a fast-paced and high change environment
