Elementary ABA Program Teacher
Coburn Elementary School
We are looking for a teacher with experience teaching elementary students with an Autism Spectrum Disorder. These students are taught in a small sub-separate environment using the Discrete Trial teaching methodology.
-As an Special Education Teacher, you would be in a classroom to support students with both group work and individually in our 1:1 -or 2:1 student to staff ratio classroom
-In addition to working with students, there will be time devoted to training, meetings and student case management to best support the students we serve working with the BCBA and other staff professionals
-Implement teaching protocols and behavior support plans
-Work in a fast-paced educational environment
-Deliver student instruction using the principles of Applied Behavior Analysis
-Assist paraprofessionals in the implementation of student specific instructional programs.
-Oversee the recording and analyzing of data
-Provide case management
-Manage behavioral crisis and interventions
-Depending on grade level MCAS portfolios will be required and a solid knowledge of MCAS Portfolio development will be required (there is training on this)
Qualifications:
-Moderate to Severe Special Needs DESE certification
-A strong background in working with students with Autism is preferred.
-SEI Endorsement
Salary: Per Unit A Contract
Schedule: Full-time, Mon-Fri, 35 hours per week. This position is for 10 months, during the school year.

Job Requirements
At least 1 year of relevant experience preferred
Bachelor degree preferred
