Speech & Language Pathologist Sunshine Village is a remarkable community where people with developmental disabilities are given opportunities for growth, outlets for creativity and the chance to discover their own niche. Sunshine Village is currently seeking a dynamic & energetic part-time Speech and Language Pathologist (SLP) to work on a clinical team providing support for adult individuals with autism and intellectual disabilities.

Duties include, but are not limited to:
> Assess, diagnose, and treat speech and language disorders.
> Work directly with individuals on the autism spectrum to address social communication.
> Provide augmentative and alternative communication systems for individuals with expressive and language comprehension disorders.
> Develop a plan of care with specific objectives to develop communications skills. ? Assess and treat swallowing disorders. Develop dining guidelines.
> Conduct visits to the programs for the purpose of evaluation and monitoring therapeutic interventions and activities.
> Communicate regularly with the interdisciplinary team including the Program Managers and Case Managers of on-going treatment issues, successes and concerns.
> Participate as a member in the interdisciplinary team process, including discussion of on-going issues and solutions and quarterly reviews.
> Collaborate with homes, families, funding sources and outside speech therapists as appropriate. Compensation & Benefits:

> Advanced Graduate Degrees from Accredited Institution(s)
> Licensed Speech and Language Pathologist in the Commonwealth of MA
> Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology
> Strong ability to communicate effectively
> Ability to work independently Terrific Work Hours: | Part Time-Monday | Friday. Hours can be flexible and negotiated between Monday-Friday 8am-4pm (up to 20 hours per week). No Evenings or weekends!

Salary: $50/hour
