We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Housing Navigator to join our team and provide essential support to individuals and families seeking
housing assistance. As a Housing Navigator, you will play a vital role in guiding applicants through the process of completing housing applications,
offering guidance, and providing ongoing support to ensure successful outcomes. The ideal candidate should be bilingual, possess experience in
application completion, and be comfortable with some travel as part of the role.

We are Hiring
Housing Navigator
Assist individuals and families in completing housing applications accurately and efficiently.
Provide personalized guidance and support to applicants, addressing questions and concerns throughout the application process.
Conduct in-depth interviews to gather necessary information for housing applications.
Collaborate with local agencies, organizations, and government entities to access housing resources and information.
Maintain up-to-date knowledge of housing policies, regulations, and eligibility criteria.
Identify potential challenges in the application process and develop strategies to overcome them.
Perform outreach to increase applicants
Document all interactions, progress, and outcomes accurately and thoroughly.
Assist applicants in gathering required documentation and verifying its accuracy.
Fluency in English and Spanish (written and spoken) to effectively communicate with diverse populations.
Prior experience in completing housing applications and familiarity with relevant procedures.
Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with a compassionate and patient approach.
Ability to travel locally as required to meet with applicants and attend meetings.
Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail to manage multiple cases simultaneously.
Familiarity with housing assistance programs, regulations, and resources is a plus.
Proficiency in using computers and software for data entry and documentation.
Empathy, cultural sensitivity, and a commitment to helping individuals and families in need.
Flexibility to adapt to changing priorities and a dynamic work environment.
Part- Time $20 per hour for 30 hours a week
The initial contract period will be until December 31, 2023, with the possibility of an extension pending funding availability.
