Quality Specialist
Responsibilities:
Under the direction of the quality management team, coordinates the document control process including the workflows for review, approval, release & distribution of local standards, work instructions, and templates.
Maintains systems for retention/management of quality records. Ensures accuracy, legibility, retrievability of records.
Assists the quality management team with the maintenance of the internal audit program including schedules, reports, and follow up of findings.
Assists the quality management team with follow-up of quality events and corrective action events.
Consults with management to resolve outstanding quality, production and efficiency problems.
Prepare monthly quality reports and key performance indicators (KPIs) of critical QMS processes.
Follows ISO 9001 and 13485 policies and procedures in the performance of the responsibilities outlined in the job description.
Administers the gage calibration and maintenance program for the manufacturing areas. Initiates and/or makes suggestions to improve working processes or product productivity.
Assist Quality Management in the creation, development and revision of inspection documentation
Performing other QA and related activities as assigned.
Your expertise
High school diploma or GED, a two-year trade school degree and 3 to 5 years inspection experience; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
